A. Abbassi is a senior Logistics expert with a BSc. in industrial engineering, MSc. in Project management and a PMP with industrial engineering expertise for more than 20 years, SCM, financial expertise, economist and engineering, and SCM. Graduated from Bath University, UK. With professional experience in the public sector as an advisor on logistics with the government of Egypt and the Gen. Auth. For land and dry ports, also established a specialized PPP financial engineering career specializing in financial analysis, modeling, structuring projects in public-private partnership and deregulation in the infrastructure sector (Transport, Energy & Environment and Public Facilities), mainly in MENA Region.

The lack of a well-planned transport road or rail ending in the cement plant and the need for an efficient and proper system while transporting your coal that can lead to increased costs and halt your production process. This session will review the best structure required to monitor the seamless supply of coal, transportation of coal and ensuring coal is stored safely and delivered with minimal impact on the road or rail system. It will also assess the operations and maintenance of stockpile management within ports, buffer yards, and final storage areas.
